Frequently Asked Questions
-
As soon as you can, ideally. The more time we have to dream and plan together, the more beautifully detailed and personal your wedding can become. Even if you don’t have a date in mind yet, or you’re just starting your planning journey, please reach out. Most couples find that a quick chat answers their key questions and helps clarify their next steps.

Yes, absolutely! I always recommend my couples visit in person before the wedding to explore potential locations and get a feel for the landscapes. But if that’s not possible, don’t worry, I can scout locations for you and share videos of the best matches for your vision. We can also walk through the planning process together over the phone.

I’m so happy that you’re surrounded by the beauty of nature. What a blessing. However, I’m only able to plan weddings in the parks where I’m licensed to operate. Wild Tide Weddings is a tourism accredited and licensed business, and I work closely with the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) in the Denmark and Walpole Wilderness Area. If I can tempt you to come down to the Great Southern Region and experience the wonders here, please reach out and let’s start planning.

Outdoor and nature focused weddings there’s always a chance of a downpour, and as part of my service I’ll make sure we’ve got a solid wet weather plan, as well as other necessary logistical solutions to make your day as stress-free as possible.

Yes, we always aim to leave no trace and respect the environment we’re celebrating in, so we’re mindful of our choice of styling items. We can’t use candles in National Parks. We also need to avoid confetti and helium balloons. There are other things to be aware of, but don’t worry, I’ll guide you as we go.

Car parking can be limited in National Parks and hidden wilderness locations. I usually recommend hiring a minibus or coach to take you and your guests out to site, but I will help you create a transport plan that suits your event.
